Overview
Our client is looking for a talented and collaborative Data Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data pipelines, building and maintaining optimal data architecture, and working closely with the data science and analytics teams to deploy cutting-edge AI solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain efficient and reliable data pipelines to move and transform data across different systems
- Develop and maintain scalable data architecture to support AI and analytics initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide technical expertise to enable smooth data integration
- Monitor and optimize data infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and data quality
- Work with data scientists and analysts to deploy machine learning models and advanced AI solutions
- Implement best practices for data security, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations
Day-to-Day
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide technical expertise
- Designing and implementing efficient and scalable data pipelines using SQL and Python
- Monitoring and optimizing data infrastructure for performance and reliability
- Working closely with data scientists and analysts to deploy AI solutions
- Implementing best practices for data security and privacy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
- Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing
- Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
- Solid understanding of AI and machine learning concepts
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
