Job Description
An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Data Science Analyst to lead the development and execution of enhanced analytical capabilities for our client. This role supports the ongoing digital transformation efforts, driving operational improvements and decision-making through advanced data analytics, machine learning, and AI technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and enhancement of the NOVA Analytics Platform.
- Plan, design, and execute the creation of analytics dashboards and solutions aligned with the Analytics Roadmap. This includes:
- Data sourcing, cleaning, and preparation.
- Model development, validation, and optimization.
- Prototyping and testing analytics solutions with end users.
- Use data mining techniques to identify opportunities for deeper insights and actionable data-driven solutions.
- Stay updated on the latest tools and techniques in data science to proactively drive improvements and innovation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver analytics solutions that provide actionable insights.
- Build intuitive dashboards and generate ad-hoc insights that are easily understood by non-technical stakeholders.
- Engage with senior leadership to communicate key findings and recommend data-driven strategies.
Qualifications & Experience
- 3+ years of experience in a Data Analytics or Data Science role, with a focus on leveraging large datasets and conducting hands-on statistical analysis.
- Proficiency in database technologies (i.e. SQL, NoSQL, Graph Databases).
- Strong experience with data science programming frameworks such as Python or R.
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau.
- Ability to develop actionable insights that drive measurable business outcomes.
- Solid foundation in statistical analysis, with the ability to select and apply the correct tools and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, particularly in explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
Desirable Qualifications
- Certifications in Tableau or native-cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with Generative AI models, including hands-on usage and tuning.
- Demonstrated experience in end-to-end machine learning projects.
- Exposure to cloud and big data technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Spark, Hive, Presto).
- Strong self-motivation and ability to independently research and adopt new data science technologies.
